6 Weeks Old to 1-Year Old Class
The beginning years of your baby’s life is an amazing time, filled with curiosity and discovery. The way your infant spends their day is just as important as our other age groups. In the infant class, we provide a tailored environment including individual cribs with fresh linens. We maintain individualized schedules to meet the needs of each child on a daily basis. Our teachers utilize activity plans that encourage and promote growth and development. We offer a variety of daily activities that expose the children to new things and help develop all five of their senses. Each day you will receive a written daily report as well as electronic updates, specific to your child, that contains information on his or her food intake, diaper changes, naps and general daily behavior. Our teachers are happy to answer questions you may have about your child’s day and give you advice about something you may be unsure of. They, experience and knowledge is a wonderful resource.
2 Year Old - 3 Year Old Preschool Class
Twos and Three year olds are filled with energy and increasing independence. They are developing quickly and are eager for knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Our program provides structure and guidance for your child to learn to share, get along with others and perform classroom tasks. Language and vocabulary skills are strengthened while listening to stories, singing songs, and playing games. Art projects and gross motor activities help to develop movement and sensory skills. For our little ones we provide consistent daily schedules with an emphasis on social and self-help skills such as toilet training, which we encourage and support as children become ready. Our teachers utilize guided activities each day and promote free choice among various activities in the classroom. We provide three meals daily; a nutritious breakfast and afternoon snack and a hot, well-balanced lunch. They enjoy 1 Hour of scheduled outside time daily, weather permitting. We provide each child with a rest mat and fresh linens for a two-hour daily rest time after lunch. The children are always welcome to bring their own special blanket and sleep comfort items from home. Each day you will receive a written daily report as well as electronic updates, specific to your child, that contains information on his or her food intake, diaper changes, naps and general daily behavior and any other important information.
Transitional Kindergarten Class (4 and 5 Years Old Class)
Children in this program develop beginning reading skills, along with mastering skills of colors (English and Spanish), advance shapes, identification and recognition in letters and numbers, writing (name, letters, numbers, etc.) and simple math skills. Your son or daughter will learn phonics, sight words and will learn to read simple words and sentences. The program features wonderful books, engaging games and activities, and is taught by a skilled and enthusiastic teacher.
